Lean-To Conservatories

Also known as a Sun Room or Garden Room, this is one of the simplest, most economical conservatory styles.

Lean-To conservatories are a particular favourite amongst those who want to extend their home but who only have a small budget to play with. Just because they are so affordable doesn’t however mean that there is a compromise on the quality of craftsmanship used.A Lean-To conservatory is traditional or contemporary, the style is perfect for properties that have restricted space under the eaves, like a bungalow, or have an area that's awkward to accommodate a conservatory. This is because the pitch of the roof on conservatory can vary – so a shallow pitch can fit under a low bungalow roof and a steeper one is ideal for a terraced house. We can design and build any style of Lean-To conservatory, from an extension to your dining room or kitchen, to the addition of a new room where you can relax in comfort and style.

Once your order is placed you can relax... We’ll take care of everything, every step of the way.

Design - Think about the conservatory you would like then talk with us about your ideas. Bring some rough measurements or maybe a photograph of your property to your nearest Hazlemere showroom. We will draw up the plans on a computer, showing how it will look from every angle as part of our free design and quotation service.

Survey - One of our expert surveyors will visit your home to take detailed measurements and confirm the position of doors and opening windows.

Planning Permission - Hazlemere Window Company have the expertise and experience to take care of any conservatory design that requires Planning Permission and/or Building Regulations Approval or even Article 4 exemption by approaching your local authority. It is often the case that your new conservatory meets all necessary criteria, so the obtaining of planning permission and/or building regulatory approval is not necessary.

Installation - Unlike many other companies, we handle everything, including digging the foundations, forming the base and building the dwarf wall, erecting the frames, roof and fitting the glass. Every step is precisely scheduled so you know exactly who is arriving and when.

Build Process - Adding a conservatory is far less disruptive than a typical home extension. In fact, hundreds of letters from satisfied customers testify to how stress-free the experience. We even get compliments about how hardworking, polite and punctual our building and installation teams have been on site.

Finishing - We will plaster the internal walls, lay the floor screed and install the electric sockets and lighting if requested. If you have ordered a ceiling fan, you can ask our electrician to fit it. We clean up afterwards as you would expect. When all the jobs are done, we may ask you to fill in a questionnaire, just to make sure you’re totally happy.
