Because there was set to be so much glass in the roof covering for this modern style conservatory, aluminium was an obvious choice of material. The aluminium frames are so slight and it has allowed for a richness of glass in the covering with absolutely no risk of the conservatory overheating in summer. We say that as the aluminium and glass are both fully thermally efficient and will keep the interior comfortably cool in summer. There’s similarly no risk of the conservatory interior getting icy cold in winter thanks to both additions.
Merging the conservatory into the existing building was made easy as the conservatory is largely constructed from brickwork. This brickwork was carefully chosen to ensure that it virtually matched the brickwork used to build the house and the matt green finish helps to strongly emphasise the brickwork as much as the framework. The vast headspace inside is due to the high-pitched roof and it massively contributes towards the overall spaciousness of the design. Just as charming as the coloured finish is the rustic dining table which emits endless charm to those fortunate enough to either see it or sit at it. Exiting the conservatory for the outdoors can be done in style thanks to the attached French doors.
